ALINE PIBOULE, winner of the 2014 Orléans International Piano Competition, where she won five prizes, offers audiences a unique musical experience that goes far beyond the traditional piano recital. With original programs that combine different eras and repertoires – from Bach to contemporary music – she invites audiences to listen differently by working with mirroring and daring combinations of composers. She likes to create links between music and other art forms such as painting, literature and photography. Her versatility and artistic commitment have earned the artist numerous invitations to the most important festivals and concert halls in France, including the Festival de La Roque d’Anthéron, La Folle Journée de Nantes, Les Lisztomanias, as well as major events such as the Piano(s) Lille Festival and the Théâtre du Châtelet. Internationally, she has performed at the Printemps des Arts de Monte-Carlo, the Beethoven Center in Buenos Aires and the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London, among others.
Her discography has been unanimously acclaimed by critics both in France and internationally. Her album “Nocturnes et Barcarolles” by Fauré (Harmonia Mundi label, 2024) has been highly praised in specialist magazines such as “Gramophone” (Editor’s Choice) and “Diapason” (Diapason d’Or). Recently, her recording “Coincidentia Oppositorum” (Artalinna-2024), dedicated to spirituality in the works of Bach, Liszt and Greif, was acclaimed by the press. A committed pianist, Aline Piboule is also a passionate educator. Her desire to pass on music to younger generations led her to design educational recitals that allow a first approach to the piano repertoire from Chopin to contemporary music. Holder of the Certificat d’Aptitude (CA) in piano and two Diplômes d’État in vocal and instrumental accompaniment, she teaches in master classes and at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Seine-Saint-Denis (CRR93).
Aline Piboule studied at the Conservatoires Nationaux Supérieurs de Musique et de Danse in Lyon and Paris, where she received the highest distinctions. She completed her studies with Jean Saulnier at the University of Montreal.
