Festival 2020 canceled
Update 24.04.2020
The 34th festival should take place from 14th till 22nd of August 2020. After long discussions and considerations, we have to inform you today that this year’s festival “Rarities of Piano Music” is canceled -due to all restrictions and uncertainties caused by the corona virus and to protect the health of the public and the pianists.
For the first time in festival history, we have to take this step and wish we could share better news with you.
We are currently working on the program planned for this year with all planned artists in 2021.
The festival will take place from August 13-21, 2021. You will find the exact concert dates and programs here on the festival website in the next few weeks.
If you don’t want to spend the summer without the “rarities of piano music”, we can recommend the festival recordings of previous years. They are available from the Danish label Danacord www.danacord.dk or individual years at Stiftung Nordfriesland (email: stiftung@nordfriesland.de , Tel. 0049- (0)4841-8973-0).
Check out our festival homepage from time to time for news – maybe we can surprise you with some digital offers.
We wish you and your families and friends that you stay healthy! Take care,
Sincerely yours
Your festival organization
